THE DESIGN STORY

Aesop was a Greek fabulist and storyteller. The Aesop necklace was created to honour the art of storytelling and its place in the modern experience. Handcrafted in sterling silver, the small pendant resembles a wax stamp - a quiet symbol of narrative, memory and meaning.

Suspended from an adjustable black cord necklace, the piece balances softness with contrast, allowing for versatile, everyday wear.

All sterling silver pieces are certified in accordance with the Hallmarking Act 1973.

Solid .925 sterling silver, incorporating up to 40% recycled metal.

Produced in a family run workshop of 7 workmen and women, our pieces are exclusively carved and crafted by hand in Athens, using Ancient Greek jewellery-making techniques and silversmithing. As champions of slow production, we create only small quantities per design. If a piece is sold out you are welcome to place a pre-order, which has a three week turnaround period, for a piece to be made exclusively for you.
