RECYCLABLE MATERIALS

At YSSO, we are committed to minimising our environmental footprint by prioritising the use of recyclable materials throughout our production process. From the metals in our jewellery to our packaging, we carefully select materials that can be reused, repurposed or responsibly recycled. In doing so, we not only reduce waste but also contribute to a more circular and conscious design philosophy - one that honours both craftsmanship and the planet.

Both our gold and sterling silver pieces are expertly sculpted using up to 40% recycled materials. Our gold jewellery is crafted exclusively from recycled gold and double-plated with both 24 and 18 karat gold.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Craftsmanship is at the very heart of YSSO. We work exclusively with one of the oldest family-run workshops in Athens dedicated to preserving Greece's goldsmithing and traditional jewellery making techniques. Having built an archive of over 200 designs over the span of 10 years collaborating with the same workshop that we still produce to this day, our craftsmen are at the core of our brand.

Our 'workshop-to-wearer' approach, means that we personally visit our atelier on a daily basis and have close and direct contact with all elements of production.

At YSSO, each piece is brought to life through time-honoured techniques passed down through generations. Our jewellery is hadncrafed by skilled artisans, celebrating traditional Greek craftsmanship and the human touch behind every detail. By choosing artisanal production over mass manufacturing, we support local communities, preserve cultural Greek heritage, and reduce our environmental footprint - one carefully made piece at a time.

CARBON NEGATIVE

At YSSO, sustainability goes beyond our materials and production - it extends to every part of our process, including how your jewellery reaches you. All YSSO orders are shipped using carbon-neutral delivery methods, offsetting emissions generated during transit. All our packaging is FSC certified, with our YSSO boxes using upcycled recycled fibre board.
