The Sea Urchin Necklace features a strand of natural deep blue jade beads, chosen for their rich tone and natural variation. At its centre sits YSSO's sculptural golden sea urchin.
The golden urchin is surrounded by the blue jade beads, creating a striking contrast between the shine of the yellow gold and the depth of the stone.
The piece captures the meeting of natural forms and sculptural metalwork, a quiet nod to the sea that continues to inspire YSSO's designs.

Produced in a family run workshop of 7 workmen and women, our pieces are exclusively carved and crafted by hand in Athens, using Ancient Greek jewellery-making techniques and silversmithing. As champions of slow production, we create only small quantities per design. If a piece is sold out you are welcome to place a pre-order, which has a three week turnaround period, for a piece to be made exclusively for you.
