THE DESIGN STORY
One of our signature designs, the Aella ring exemplifies YSSO’s dedication to exploring new textures and sculptural form. Inspired by the story of Aella - a female Amazonian warrior known for her incredible fighting skills, courage and pride - the ring embodies strength and self-possession.
The handcrafted double-wrap design nods to Aella's weapon of choice, the axe, and to the commanding power of the warrior herself. Designed to be adjustable, the ring can be gently stretched or compressed for a personalised fit up or down the finger.
