YSSO

We are a Greek jewellery brand based in London. Launched in 2019 with my mother, after she spent nearly a decade creating jewellery with artisans around Greece, as a hobby.
YSSO is derived from the word gold in Greek - "chrysso" - as a standalone word which does not have a traditional meaning, and was imagined to represent the concept of a 'blank canvas' for personal expression and interpretation.
My mother was an archeologist and art historian, having lived between France and Greece most of her life, she has influenced and still influences my aesthetic. The duality of our collaborative relationship is at the core of YSSO and all we do.
We hope our work inspires you and moves you personally.

Coming to you from the sunlit shores of Athens, our jewellery is crafted by hand by artisans and silversmiths whom we know personally, and have worked with for over a decade.
Craftsmanship is at the very heart of YSSO. Our silversmiths in Greece are at the core of our creations, each piece created to honour the ancient Greek heritage of jewellery-making, and in line with the old techniques which we use to make our pieces, all still designed by hand by us.
Investing in creating memories, then looking back at them and still feeling them is what makes us who we are. We return to what we loved. That's how we know.
